Position: Certified Medical Specialist in PediatricsWe are seeking a Certified Medical Specialist in Pediatrics who possesses experience in pediatric care and is familiar with Allscripts. The successful candidate will exhibit strong collaborative skills, a sense of responsibility, and the capability to excel in a dynamic healthcare setting. In this role, you will be integral to our clinical operations, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality and efficient care.
Primary Responsibilities- Act as a representative of the patient's medical home team.
- Accurately document all patient care services.
- Adhere to infection-control protocols and procedures.
- Oversee medical equipment maintenance and coordinate with suppliers.
- Manage patient charting and testing with meticulous attention to detail.
- Be available for weekend and holiday shifts as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and certification/registration in North Carolina.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, phlebotomy, injections, and electronic charting.
- Understanding of childhood vaccinations and administration protocols up to 22 years of age.
