Position: Certified Medical Specialist in Pediatrics

We are seeking a Certified Medical Specialist in Pediatrics who possesses experience in pediatric care and is familiar with Allscripts. The successful candidate will exhibit strong collaborative skills, a sense of responsibility, and the capability to excel in a dynamic healthcare setting. In this role, you will be integral to our clinical operations, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality and efficient care.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Act as a representative of the patient's medical home team.
  • Accurately document all patient care services.
  • Adhere to infection-control protocols and procedures.
  • Oversee medical equipment maintenance and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Manage patient charting and testing with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Be available for weekend and holiday shifts as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and certification/registration in North Carolina.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, phlebotomy, injections, and electronic charting.
  • Understanding of childhood vaccinations and administration protocols up to 22 years of age.
