Job Title: HIM Lead

We are seeking an experienced HIM professional to lead our Release of Information team at a large health system.

About the Role:

This team consists of 12 individuals responsible for ensuring accurate and timely release of records requested by patients and their doctors.

The successful candidate will be required to pull and analyze data to inform decision-making.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of HIM experience
  • Experience with smart sheets for pulling and analyzing data
  • Experience working in a hospital setting and/or large healthcare system
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • RHIT certified (Registered Health Information Technician)
  • 1+ year of ROI experience
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis and review trends

We use a variety of tools, including Excel, Smartsheets, and other tools.

Some level of leadership experience is required, which can be formal or informal.
