Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Manager to oversee our life sciences portfolio in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of real estate professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of our life sciences portfolio, including property operations, team management, financial management, and lease management.
  • Develop and execute a strategic operating plan that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Legal, Marketing, Risk Management, Finance, Construction, and Leasing to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage a team of real estate professionals and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in asset/property management, including 2+ years of experience with R&D laboratory facilities.
  • Strong people management skills, keen financial management skills, and outstanding tenant relations skills.
  • Possess a high technology aptitude and substantial knowledge of liability and legal issues in property management.
  • Experience with complex, highly technical commercial building system applications, including working knowledge of preventative maintenance database systems.
  • Understanding of laboratory HVAC systems and knowledge of central plant operations a plus.
  • CCIM, CPM, RPA, LEED AP, or equivalent industry designation(s) preferred.
