About the Role

We are seeking a talented Nursing Assistant I to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, and maintain patient environment under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee.
  • Assist licensed staff in carrying out other related duties.
Requirements
  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.
  • Current CPR Certification is required.
  • Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $19.19 - $25.76 per hour, depending on level of experience. The rotation schedule requires every other weekend and every other holiday.
