We're seeking a detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position will be determined based on your level of experience, with a competitive hourly wage range of $19.19 - $25.76.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide support to licensed staff in carrying out various duties and tasks.
  • Work collaboratively under the supervision of individually assigned Managers, Patient Care Services or designees.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent is required.
  • Current CPR Certification is mandatory.
  • Three (3) months of experience in an acute care or long-term setting is preferred.
