Atrium Health Mercy, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Nurse Aide/Healthcare Tech to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist nursing staff with patient care and treatments under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Perform special procedures correctly under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, co-workers, and facility
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain a commitment to excellence
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a North Carolina State Approved Nurse Aide I course required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
