The Young Mens Christian Association Raritan Bay Area is seeking a highly skilled Aquatics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our aquatics department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing our aquatics programs, including swim lessons, aquatic facility maintenance, staff training, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety and Risk Management: Safeguard the lives of our members and pool participants by ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to members, staff, and visitors, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Team Supervision: Supervise lifeguards, instructors, seasonal employees, and volunteers to ensure the successful operation of our aquatics center.
- Aquatics Experience: Previous experience in aquatics management, guarding, instructing, and running swim meets.
- Swim Instruction: Swim instruction experience preferred.
- Certifications: Current First Aid, Lifeguard, and CPR certification.
- Emergency Management: Familiarity with all emergency management guidelines and direct application.
- Competitive Pay: $20.00/hour.
