CNC Mill Machinist 1st Shift Full Time

Fathom Mfg is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our 1st shift team. As a CNC Mill Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machine centers, programming using G-code editing, and inspecting parts using manual gauges and instruments.
Key Responsibilities:- Setup and operation of CNC milling machine centers
- MDI programming using G-code editing
- Inspection of parts using manual gauges and instruments
- Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
- Monitoring and inspecting parts throughout the machining process
- Observing and adhering to company quality and safety procedures
- Communicating and collaborating with team members to share information and solve technical issues
- Participating in Lean and 6S manufacturing events
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree in a relevant field or (3+) years of experience in CNC
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Able to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Great communication skills
- Mazak conversational programming and operation a plus
- Knowledge of tooling and tooling requirements
- Must read and write English
