Job Summary:
Burger King is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food orders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared quickly, efficiently, and precisely.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean kitchen and sanitizing work areas throughout the shift.
- Assist in the monitoring of inventory and the ordering of new supplies as needed.
- Follow the restaurant's recipes and presentation specifications, ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a restaurant cook or prep cook.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school attendance is a plus.
