Truck Load Movement Manager

Burkhart Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Truck Load Movement Manager to coordinate the movement of freight, manage drivers, and ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers in Knoxville, TN.
The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the movement of freight, including scheduling and dispatching truck drivers.
- Track shipments using transportation management software and update records accordingly.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profits.
- Maintain accurate records of driver logs, freight bills, and invoices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with drivers, carriers, and customers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in truckload dispatching or related field.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in transportation management software and Microsoft Office suite.
