Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Life Sciences Instructor to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of life sciences courses, including anatomy, physiology, human biology, and general biology. The instructor will also be expected to participate in curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Teach life sciences courses, including anatomy, physiology, human biology, and general biology
- Develop and implement curriculum for life sciences courses
- Assess student learning outcomes and evaluate course effectiveness
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives
- Engage in professional development to stay current in the field
Requirements:
- Masters in any biological science or related field
- Bachelors in any biological science or related field and a Master's in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science
- Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of students
Working Conditions:
