Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Teacher at our Suffern, NY location. As a Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners and supporting the growth and development of our children.
Key Responsibilities- Implement our research-backed curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes learning and development
- Partner with parents to provide the best possible care and education for their children
- Support the success of our center by working collaboratively with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community contacts
- Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents
- Starting rate of pay is $16.10/hour, with a robust tenure-based pay model that begins at 1 year of service for qualified individuals
