Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze portfolios within the Line of Business from a financial and operational perspective, assessing new technologies and applications.
  • Provide regular briefings to Senior Executives and General Officers regarding ongoing programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Represent the Line of Business in high-level meetings and conferences, engaging with various defense and federal agencies.
  • Set overarching objectives, monitor the performance of subordinate staff, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Oversee fiduciary responsibilities and fiscal planning related to the Line of Business.
  • Establish long-term and short-term strategic plans that meet the information requirements of Department of Defense clients.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Compliance with Selective Service registration requirements.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Drug testing may be required.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Attention to Detail: Experience in reviewing IT-related work for accuracy and consistency.
  • Customer Service: Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their current and future IT needs.
  • Oral Communication: Proficiency in briefing senior management on complex technical issues.
  • Problem Solving: Skills in identifying and addressing complex IT-related challenges.

Experience Requirements: Candidates must have at least one year of experience that aligns with the competencies necessary for success in this position.

Education: No educational substitution for qualifying experience at the GG-15 grade level.

Additional Information: This position is part of the Cyber Excepted Service and does not allow for conversion to the Competitive Service. A probationary period may be required.
