Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe work practices and train employees on safety procedures.
  • Supervise operators and coordinate scheduling and workflow to meet production requirements.
  • Provide staff training, guidance, and motivation to ensure effective performance.
  • Conduct timely corrective actions and employee performance reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and other supervisors, engineers, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure expected output of quality products and investigate quality defects as assigned.
  • Promote Lean/Sigma Manufacturing concepts and implement continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Monitor production hour-by-hour performance and escalate issues.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Functional understanding of production modules and good understanding of other modules.
  • Ability to work modified shift hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Good organizational and planning skills, communication skills, and ability to adapt to workforce, work environment, and customer needs.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience leading a team.
