Job Overview

The University of Providence is seeking an experienced Athletic Performance Specialist to join our vibrant athletic community in Great Falls, Montana. As a key member of the sports medicine team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and success of our student athletes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for 15 sports teams, adhering to NAIA, ACHA, Frontier and Cascade Conference rules and regulations.
  • Provide athletic training services, including attendance at practices and competitions, physical examinations, medical referrals, and team physician visits.
  • Collaborate with strength and conditioning coaches to design and implement safe fitness programs for student athletes.
  • Manage the sports medicine program budget, evaluating new techniques, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide general counseling and education to student athletes, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training (Master's preferred).
  • National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
  • Montana licensure (or in process).
  • Current CPR & AED certification.

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
