Responsibilities:
  • Prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns/extension/estimated tax calculations for assigned subsidiaries, including both Corporate and partnership entities.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 for assigned subsidiaries.
  • Prepare income tax account reconciliations for assigned subsidiaries.
  • Assist in supporting and maintaining readiness for the tax department's Corporate tax software system to facilitate ongoing use in preparation of income tax provision and compliance deliverables.
  • Document tax technology requirements, processes, and procedures.
  • Support ongoing projects and business initiatives and assist with special projects as requested.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate tax or in public accounting.
  • Strong tax provision and compliance experience in corporate tax.
  • Broad understanding and experience with corporate or partnership federal and state income tax.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, i.e., Excel spreadsheet.
  • Experience with Corptax system is a strong plus.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High-level of energy, enthusiasm, and desire to grow your career.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and tactfully, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work productively with a high degree of independence and with accuracy and high attention to detail, while knowing when to seek guidance or assistance.
