We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at SRS Distribution Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers and job sites within a 200-mile radius of our branch.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and ensure safe transportation of goods.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
- Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck and ensure accurate delivery tickets.
- Conduct job site inspections and document any existing damage or hazards.
- Capture pictures of delivered building products in accordance with company policy.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Ability to load and unload building products weighing up to 100 lbs. each.
- Safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years.
- Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Home every night.
