Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments, coordinating and executing treatment plans, and providing thorough client education.
In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians during exams and outpatient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Review and implement treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with clients
This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.
Compensation Package:The salary for this role is estimated to be between $19-24 per hour, based on experience and skillset. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including:

To be considered for this role, you should have ideally 1-3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting, although we are open to training the right person. You should also possess proficiency in skills such as patient restraint, SQ and IV injections, and client communication.
