RN Surgical Telemetry Unit Full Time Evening Position

Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Telemetry Unit as a Full Time Evening position. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct clinical patient care and assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on a per shift basis.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensure continuity of care, and facilitate effective communication.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Associate degree in Nursing required.
- One year of telemetry experience preferred.
- CCRN preferred.
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
- American Heart Association ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.
