Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing or Underwriting within a property and casualty insurance firm.

• A positive, professional, and collaborative service attitude that aligns with our core values of integrity, relationships, and excellence.

• Proficiency in rating both personal and commercial lines.

• Capability to complete necessary training programs.

• Proven strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to create a favorable impression in all interactions with agents.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips.

• Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize work schedules.

• Must be a self-starter.

• Residing in or willing to relocate to the northeastern Illinois region is essential.

• Familiarity with the Illinois market is required.

• A college degree is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage a territory to achieve the budgeted volume and policy count of profitable business lines.

2. Utilize pricing and binding authority to enhance premium volume and policy count of profitable lines.

3. Serve as a liaison between agencies and the client company.

4. Identify and secure new appointments in accordance with client company prototype requirements.
