Position Summary
As a Project Engineer within our Hydrology & Hydraulics division, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations of intricate drainage systems to support development initiatives.
- Designing and analyzing stormwater management solutions, including detention basins, open channels, and storm sewer infrastructures.
- Executing floodplain assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive technical documentation and cost projections.
- Performing site visits to assess existing conditions and validate third-party survey accuracy.
- Representing WGA at industry gatherings and engaging with the community.
- Collaborating with technical support and Land Development teams under the guidance of the H&H Project Manager.
- Coordinating project timelines and deliverables.
- Gathering, organizing, and analyzing relevant data.
- Maintaining project documentation and references systematically.
- Utilizing computer modeling for system analysis.
- Developing, assessing, and designing specifications and contract drawings.
- Working closely with project and task leaders to ensure project success.
- Consistently maintaining attendance at the WGA office.
- Executing additional responsibilities as required.

Educational Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering with up to three years of relevant experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification obtained or scheduled for examination.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Exposure to HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and GIS software is preferred.
- Background in general Drainage/Hydrology and Hydraulics engineering design is a plus.
