Job Title: Dish Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dish Attendant at Lizard's Thicket in Lexington, SC.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils using machine and manual cleaning methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve soiled dishes from the tables and bus pans in the dining room
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
  • Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas
  • Stock and rotate incoming food deliveries from suppliers
  • Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
  • Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
  • Set up or break down dishwashing area
  • Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
  • Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
  • Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
  • Work with other staff as a team and always have a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude

Salary Range: $9.00 - $12.00 Hourly
