Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sonographic procedures under general supervision, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Engage in exceptional customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all individuals.
- Comply with the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all relevant regulations.
Value to the Team:
- Consistently produce high-quality scans tailored to patient needs, as evaluated by Radiologists and management.
- Follow established exam protocols and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement.
- Complete examinations promptly while assessing patient preparation status and scheduling accordingly.
- Communicate findings effectively with physicians and maintain professionalism with patients and their families.
- Conduct a comprehensive range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operate all necessary equipment.
- Adapt to new technologies and protocols, contributing to the knowledge and skills of colleagues and students.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program
- Completion of at least two American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) specialty exams, including:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Abdomen (AB)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Breast
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
