Job Overview

Celebration Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a skilled and flexible Part-Time Breast Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing obstetric, gynecologic, and breast ultrasound examinations with high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and ensure high-quality imaging.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide reassurance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to contribute to patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation while adhering to confidentiality and data protection regulations.
  • Follow safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Travel to Davenport or Winter Garden locations for coverage as needed.
  • Assist with additional duties to support the practice as required.

Qualifications:

  • Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
  • Valid state licensure as a Sonographer.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a breast sonography registry within a designated time frame.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours and travel between locations as needed.
