Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Northern Virginia's only Level 1 Trauma Center. As an Emergency Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
  • Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
  • Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.
  • Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience: Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. Previous Emergency Department experience preferred.
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
  • BLS from American Heart Association
  • CEN/ACLS certification desired
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
