Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new inverter-based welding power supply designs, ensuring high efficiency and reliability.
- Develop firmware for power supply control systems, utilizing expertise in microcontroller structures and IDEs.
- Collaborate with our manufacturing team to implement new products and test procedures, ensuring seamless production and quality control.
- Support customers remotely with existing equipment and designs, providing expert technical assistance and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field, applying this knowledge to improve existing designs and develop new solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in electronics design and PCB layout, with a strong background in electrical engineering principles.
- Expertise in electrical PCB design software, preferably Altium.
- Experience with microcontroller structures and at least one IDE, such as Atmel/Microchip Studio, MPLAB, Arduino, or Code Composer Studio.
- Comprehensive lab skills and knowledge of basic test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and differential probes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies, with a self-starting and goal-oriented approach.
