Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new inverter-based welding power supply designs, ensuring high efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop firmware for power supply control systems, utilizing expertise in microcontroller structures and IDEs.
  • Collaborate with our manufacturing team to implement new products and test procedures, ensuring seamless production and quality control.
  • Support customers remotely with existing equipment and designs, providing expert technical assistance and guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field, applying this knowledge to improve existing designs and develop new solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electronics design and PCB layout, with a strong background in electrical engineering principles.
  • Expertise in electrical PCB design software, preferably Altium.
  • Experience with microcontroller structures and at least one IDE, such as Atmel/Microchip Studio, MPLAB, Arduino, or Code Composer Studio.
  • Comprehensive lab skills and knowledge of basic test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and differential probes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies, with a self-starting and goal-oriented approach.
