Job Title: Associate Dean-School of Nursing

The Associate Dean of the School of Nursing is a key leadership position that plays a critical role in the development and implementation of the school's strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in teaching, leadership, and administrative experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Dean and School of Nursing leadership in identifying, prioritizing, and leading strategic initiatives within the school.
  • Develop and implement evaluation plans to determine implementation fidelity and success.
  • Apply project management expertise to long-range initiatives in the School of Nursing.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clinical partners and affiliates to foster the school's mission.
  • Assist the Dean in developing collaborations with policy and political agencies to advance the school's agenda.
Qualifications:
  • Earned doctorate, preferably in nursing, required.
  • Master of science with major in nursing.
  • Established record of excellence in teaching.
  • Ability to organize and lead groups of faculty.
  • Experience in undergraduate pre-licensure nursing education, preferably at the associate degree level.
  • Experience with nursing programmatic accreditation.
  • Experience with NCLEX success.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established record of excellence in teaching.

The hiring salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000. The University will supply necessary equipment to perform the essential functions of this job.
