Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Pinnacle Home Care Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of skilled home healthcare providers. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain independence in their daily lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Conduct home assessments to identify potential hazards and barriers to independent living, and provide recommendations for equipment and adaptive devices.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to improve patients' physical and cognitive abilities, and communicate progress to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Teach patients new skills and retrain them in daily activities that have been lost due to illness or injury, in accordance with Pinnacle Home Care's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, and submit reports to physicians as required.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Florida.
  • Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
