Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer or assist residents with self-administering medications and treatments, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to physician orders.
  • Specimen Collection and Transport: Collect, store, and transport specimens for laboratory studies, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Communication with Physicians: Communicate effectively with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms, ensuring timely and accurate exchange of information.
  • Charting and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident charts, including physician orders, laboratory reports, and other relevant data.
  • Service Plan Development: Assist in the development and revision of service plans, collaborating with the Wellness Director to ensure resident needs and preferences are met.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by the Wellness Director, contributing to the overall success of our team.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Meet state or provincial health-related requirements.
  • Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN.
  • Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.
