Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough background checks and verify identification for all personnel and visitors.
  • Monitor and control access to sensitive areas and equipment.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of access control activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and government personnel.
  • Meet and greet visitors, and escort them to their destinations as required.
  • Assist with medical, fire department, and law enforcement responses as directed by supervisors.
  • Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
  • Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Requirements

  • Active TS clearance.
  • Access control experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred.
  • Successfully completed all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications, and security clearances for the site.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.
