Job Description

**Job Title:** DevOps Lead with AWS Expertise

**Location:** Plano, TX

**Duration:** 9 months

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to lead our team in developing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS. As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure on the AWS platform.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience working with AWS, specifically CloudFormation, EC2, and S3. You should also have strong development skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, and experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms.

**Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with AWS resources

Required Skills and Qualifications

**Basic Qualifications:*

  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS
  • Experience with CloudFormation, EC2, and S3
  • Strong development skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms

**Preferred Qualifications:*

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps with AWS
  • Experience with Java programming
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform
  • 2+ years of experience with Python
  • AWS Certified
