Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

Join United Urology Group, a leading urology network in the country, as an Advanced Practice Provider. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations, writing prescriptions, and providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services under physician supervision. You will work independently and as an effective healthcare team member, demonstrating a caring and compassionate attitude towards patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical exams, evaluate medical history, and assess health status
  • Order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and treat illnesses
  • Consult with physicians as needed and refer to physicians for more complicated medical cases
  • Adjust patient care plans by reviewing and monitoring treatments and therapy plans
  • Administer or order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic tests
  • Counsel and educate patients and families on preventive health care
  • Document patient information and care in medical records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in physician assistant studies or a related field
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant granted by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Acute care certification and current ACLS, BLS, and CPR certifications
  • Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of employment
  • Valid DEA drug license and controlled substance license in the state of employment
