Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely.
  • Evaluate and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries, monitoring for infection or complications.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including changes in condition, administered treatments, and medication management.
  • Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, medications, and self-care practices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Address patient comfort and safety needs, including positioning, mobility assistance, and pain management.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols and delivering basic life support as necessary.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and PPE utilization.
  • Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies.
  • Foster health and wellness by promoting preventive care measures and aiding with health assessments.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.
  • Stay current on nursing best practices, regulations, and advancements through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Valid and active LPN State license.
  • BLS certification.
