Appliance Pickup and Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Appliance Pickup and Delivery Specialist to join our team at Prism Specialties. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving our company vehicle, transporting electronics and consumer appliances, and delivering and reinstalling them within insured homes or businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving and Transportation: Safely operate our 16 ft. box truck to transport electronics and consumer appliances from homes and businesses.
  • Inventory and Removal: Conduct thorough inventory of electronics and consumer appliances, remove them from homes and businesses, and transport them to our facility.
  • Delivery and Installation: Deliver and reinstall electronics and consumer appliances within insured homes or businesses, ensuring they are properly installed and functioning correctly.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and perform duties assigned.
  • Quality Control: Inspect your work to ensure it meets our quality standards and exceeds customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Possess good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Driving Experience: Experience driving a 16 ft. box truck is preferred but not required.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Background Check: Pass a pre-employment background check and DOT health screening.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted, move 100 lbs. with assistance, and stand for extended periods.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Appearance and Attitude: Exhibit a professional, neat, and clean appearance and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
