Job Description:

Metasys Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our mailroom operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of mail and packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mailroom Operations: Operate high-level mail equipment, including mail inserters, sorters, and finishing equipment, in an automated high-speed/high-volume environment.
  • Mail Processing: Coordinate automated and manual processes for finishing and mailing client materials, including packaging and posting.
  • Distribution and Tracking: Implement and maintain distribution and tracking systems, using customized software to update and maintain mailing addresses.
  • Mail Delivery: Receive, sort, and process mail documents, packages, and supplies, notify recipients, and deliver and pick up mail on scheduled runs.
  • Accountable Mail: Record and process accountable mail information, maintain logs, and track, trace, and resolve mail problems with USPS, express, and local delivery services.
  • Shipping and Fulfillment: Prepare mail and packages for external shipment, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and perform quality checks on outbound mail.
  • Supply Management: Monitor, order, and replenish supplies inventory, mail, and distribution activities, and fully operate, clean, and maintain all shipping and mail equipment.
  • Light Maintenance: Perform light maintenance on client equipment, deliver paper to select areas weekly, and cross-train within the mailroom.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Skills: Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, able to stand all day, able to read, write, and follow English instructions, intermediate knowledge of MS Word or equivalent, intermediate knowledge of MS Excel or ability to demonstrate use of mail equipment per training, and able to demonstrate customer service and communication skills.
