Industrial Maintenance Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine machine maintenance work and other ongoing maintenance throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Use hand and power tools in repair, machine alteration, and other facility work as directed by supervisor.
- Implement facilities improvement projects as assigned and coordinate internal resources with outside vendors when necessary.
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain plant equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Repair and maintain CNC equipment, specify repair parts, and replace as needed.
- Set up and operate tools and equipment to make and repair parts, tooling, and equipment.
- Work with manufacturing engineers to develop and construct new processes or equipment to increase throughput and reduce operating expenses.
- Support all manufacturing and Lean efforts in the plant.
- Document procedures and instructions as required, in compliance with PM requirements.
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in maintenance technician required; manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous trade experience or training in mechanical, building, electrical, or maintenance highly preferred.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics preferred.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a medium to high volume production facility.
- Metal fabrication a plus, use of mills, lathes, and welding.
- Standard 40-hour workweek applies, overtime as needed.
- Moderate to heavy physical activity required, including walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting.
- Hand dexterity and strength required to operate manual/electrical power tools and other mechanical shop equipment.
