Position Overview:
The Sales and Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role at Scenthound, focusing on selling memberships while delivering exceptional service to every customer.

Ideal Candidate:
We seek a goal-oriented individual with a passion for sales and customer service. A successful Sales and Front Desk Associate is outgoing, self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and a compassionate dog lover. We are looking for someone eager to advance their career through our training path to become a Scenthound Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive membership sales through education on health and wellness
  • Achieve key performance indicators such as average ticket price and rebook ratio through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
  • Develop and follow up on membership leads
  • Manage customer appointments, phone calls, and profiles
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly
  • Manage customer expectations and resolve concerns to retain memberships
  • Maintain a clean and presentable reception area in accordance with Scenthound's sanitary practices
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager
Skills and Abilities:
  • Confidence in selling services and products
  • Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human) and provide outstanding service
  • Capacity to learn about our products and services to educate pet parents
  • Effective communication skills with team members and customers
  • Problem-solving skills guided by Scenthound values and culture
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skills for efficient appointment scheduling

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
