Culinary Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to join our team at Civitas Senior Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our community, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences.

• Culinary Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of culinary staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and beverage operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.
• Cost Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage food costs, maintain inventory control, and optimize budgetary constraints.
• Talent Development: Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
• Scheduling Expertise: Utilize effective scheduling practices to ensure optimal staffing levels and minimize labor costs.
• Compliance and Communication: Enforce policies and procedures, communicate effectively with staff and residents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Menu Planning & Innovation: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

• Culinary Expertise: 2+ years of relevant work experience, with a culinary arts background preferred.
• Leadership Skills: At least one year of supervisory experience, with 2+ years preferred in a food service management role.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including DHSR Dietary regulations.
