Role Overview
The Process Optimization team is in search of a transformation specialist consultant to assist various workstreams in realizing the firm-wide process optimization objectives, enabling divisions to scale operations more efficiently and effectively, ultimately leading to enhanced capacity.
As a Business Process Enhancement Consultant, you will join the Core Services squad, responsible for establishing the framework, tools, and discipline surrounding process optimization for the Firm.
This squad will set governance standards and supervise the development of guidance materials.
The team also manages the framework and tracking of benefits and tool landscape related to process optimization, including process comprehension, enhancement, automation, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to devise suitable solutions, products, and templates aligned with process optimization objectives.
- Engage closely with various internal stakeholders to convey program strategies, coordinate deliverables, and monitor and report on progress.
- Assist in compiling a portfolio overview of ongoing initiatives and the benefits derived from them.
- Support the governance and architecture of process optimization tools.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate the delivery of key engagements.
- Provide facilitation and consulting support to teams in pursuit of efficiency objectives.
Required Skills
- Over 10 years of professional experience in banking and financial services.
- Comprehensive understanding of process improvement capabilities/frameworks (such as process mapping, mining, intelligent document processing, workflow, RPA, design thinking, etc.) and/or familiarity with process management and automation tools (including Celonis, UiPath, Camunda, Microsoft Power, etc.).
- Proven involvement in change management and continuous development projects within a complex global organization, preferably in Financial Services.
- Strong business analysis and business process management skills (e.g., defining new processes, executing processes, and focusing on continuous improvement).
- Executive presence with the ability to engage with a diverse range of senior stakeholders across the firm, complemented by excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capacity to cultivate relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Proficiency in gathering and synthesizing information from multiple stakeholder groups (including end users) to facilitate decision-making (background in program management is advantageous).
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation development for senior management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate problem statements into actionable solutions with clear and concise business rules.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
