Overview: The Parts Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts inquiries. This position involves identifying required parts and utilizing the CZM part number to generate Sales Orders, ensuring accurate processing within the system, and managing the packing and shipping of orders to meet customer specifications. Additionally, the role encompasses warehouse responsibilities, including receiving parts, processing orders in the system, and organizing inventory.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 2-3 years of mechanical experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend English, including product and part specifications
  • Familiarity with equipment specifications, including hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Preferred technical or vocational training
  • Forklift operation experience

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosis:

  • Engage with customers to understand their equipment needs and challenges.
  • Identify the parts required by the customer and locate the corresponding part numbers.

Customer Interactions:

  • Act as a representative of the company, maintaining respectful and professional communication with customers.
  • Exhibit a clear understanding of customer needs and urgency in addressing equipment repairs promptly.

Preventive Maintenance & Safety:

  • Optimize resource use by employing equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve job outcomes while minimizing waste.
  • Document actions by completing necessary production and quality forms.

  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to foster positive customer interactions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
  • Critical thinking skills to solve problems and generate innovative ideas.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Regularly lifting weights between 30-50 pounds.
  • Demonstrating manual dexterity to perform daily tasks and execute repetitive actions accurately.
