About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Drury Hotels. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's physical property and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including light carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.
- Implement and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment, in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Keep detailed records and reports of maintenance activities.
- Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance team members.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Contribute to an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous and friendly service.
Requirements:
- Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills, with ability to handle all aspects of hotel maintenance.
- Ability to complete partial or full dismantling of equipment to repair or replace defective components.
- Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations for pool maintenance.
- Experience in implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair and plumbing.
- Ability to speak, write, and receive direction in English.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults using appropriate testing methods.
- Flexibility to be available for emergency repairs.
