Contract DetailsDuration: 12 Months Contract (with potential for extension)
Location: Onsite/Hybrid
Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 Annually
Position SummaryThe selected Mainframe Developer will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in software development for critical, enterprise-level applications.
- Demonstrate expertise in Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
- Conduct thorough analyses for maintenance and enhancement projects in both batch and online settings.
- Facilitate the deployment and support of software releases in production environments.
- Utilize data security practices to safeguard client information.
- Perform comprehensive unit, functional, and regression testing.
- Exhibit proficiency in writing COBOL/Native stored procedures.
- Possess familiarity with Distributed Technologies (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exhibit strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving skills to enhance user experiences.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, alongside effective communication skills.
- Adapt to shifting priorities to address urgent client needs.
- Maintain a growth-oriented mindset, continually seeking to learn new technologies and share knowledge with team members.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience.
Additional InformationRelocation: This position does not provide relocation assistance.
Travel: No travel required.
Local Candidates Preferred: Yes.
Note: Candidates must be eligible to work on a W2 basis (No C2C).
