Tech24 is a comprehensive service provider for commercial kitchen equipment repair. Our expertise encompasses maintenance and repair services for various establishments, including restaurants, convenience stores, and coffee shops, with a focus on commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.

The Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician will be tasked with operating a company vehicle to visit customer locations for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Success in this role requires the ability to work autonomously, possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, and excel in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct inspections of HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and branch personnel regarding repair status.
  • Complete service tickets in accordance with established procedures.
  • Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards.
  • Serve as a role model for less experienced technicians.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Reliable and capable of working independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Possession of standard industry hand tools.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
  • Availability for on-call duties during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new skills.
  • Prior experience as a commercial HVAC and Refrigeration technician is essential.
  • Universal EPA certification is highly desirable.
