Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at BBL Hospitality. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests upon arrival, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
  • Manage the efficient and timely seating of guests, taking into account their preferences and the flow of the restaurant
  • Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience
  • Provide guests with menus and inform them of their server's name, ensuring a personalized and attentive service
  • Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness, ensuring a high standard of quality
  • Relay messages to servers and buspersons as needed, maintaining a high level of communication and organization
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return, fostering a sense of loyalty and appreciation

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
