Position Overview:

At Infinera, your base salary is just one component of your overall compensation package. The actual base salary will be determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. The Revenue Accountant will be involved in revenue arrangements for sales and service projects, the closing process, as well as system and reporting initiatives.

This role guarantees that analytics and reporting are executed promptly and accurately, and that any new or modified accounting policies of the company are implemented in a timely and precise manner.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Review and document multi-element and standalone revenue contracts to ensure accurate and complete revenue allocation in accordance with ASC606.
2. Prepare journal entries and reconciliations during monthly and quarterly closing processes to ensure accurate current period postings.
3. Collaborate with sales and service teams to provide guidance during deal creation.
4. Work alongside the legal team to offer guidance during customer contract negotiations.
5. Analyze sales forecasts to ensure deal structures are compatible with the SAP RAR system.
6. Coordinate with external auditors to provide necessary data and address follow-up inquiries.
7. Assist in managing revenue applications and related projects.
8. Conduct analytics on revenue results for quarterly and annual financial reporting.
9. Ensure that revenue processes and controls comply with internal control standards.

Qualifications:
1. 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience or education.
2. A positive, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills, strong Excel capabilities, and analytical skills.
3. Experience with SAP and RAR is preferred.
4. Knowledge of auditing financial statements and internal controls.
5. Proven ability to lead projects or tasks.
