Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Management Specialist to join our team at Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our project-level safety management program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage project-level safety management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety assessments and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans, including training programs and emergency response procedures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and address safety concerns and develop corrective actions.
  • Provide regular safety reports and updates to management.
Requirements
  • Must have OSHA 510/500 Certification.
  • Must be bilingual (speak English and Spanish).
  • Knowledge of heavy mechanical work in construction (Piping, HVAC, Mechanical Work, Gas Work, etc.)
  • Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of ES&H subcontractors or consultants.
  • Experience in ES&H assessments/inspection during construction.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials and physical risks and the mechanisms to mitigate them.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CHST Certification
  • Associates or Bachelors (2-4 years of college) in Environmental and/or Occupational Safety
