Job Description

As a CRNA Anesthesiology Specialist at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.

You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized anesthesia plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A degree requirement as defined by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners (TSBNE) for clinical licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

• Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN) issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.

• Current State of Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license recognizing the certification for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse CRNA (APRN-CRNA), issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.

• Certification or recertification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) issued by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
