Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teacher Leader to join our team at Johnston County Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting instruction and instructional environments that promote student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement instructional plans that align with school and system-wide curricular goals
  • Monitor student performance and provide feedback to encourage growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in education or a related field
  • Valid teaching licensure in North Carolina
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities

Working Conditions:
