Job Title: MRI Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Folsom, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform routine and specialized MRI procedures to produce high-quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping orient other staff to the department.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or Magnetic Resonance Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist or ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT (MRI) - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
