The Surgical Technician II is a vital member of the healthcare team who provides technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) according to accepted clinical standards of care. To be eligible for this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program, or 5 years of acute care Surgical Tech experience. Required skills include knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up. We also prefer candidates with NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of surgical technician experience or 5 years of acute care surgical tech experience
  • Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up
  • High School diploma or equivalent and completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program

Shift and Schedule:

6 - 12 hours per shift

Shift 1: Days

Occasional weekend work

No on-call requirements
